A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a tax manager to join a global aircraft leasing company headquartered in Dublin. This is a newly created role within the team which will allow an ambitious tax professional an excellent opportunity for career progression.

About the position
- Management of global tax compliance requirements across al jurisdictions
- Working with external advisors on the annual tax compliance reporting process
- Review transaction documents for aircraft acquistions, disposals and restructurings
- Identify tax risks and communicate such matters to the business
- Support the senior management with tax structuring and considerations for new funds
- Prepare deferred tax workings for quarterly accounts
- Advise the business on upcoming tax changes and impacts to the business
- Manage the close relationships with external advisors
- Support the business on process improvement projects and other ad hoc projects
About the person
- Qualified tax professional with training completed in a big 4 firm and management experience within practice or industry
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate tax matters to non tax stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ambitious individual, ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
