Barden is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing international organisation to identify an IT Transformation Project Manager who will be responsible for the embedding of project management practices with their organisation to ensure the good quality management and delivery of internal changes across the business. Success in this role will require adapting to the culture of a smaller organisation and engaging with stakeholders effectively at all levels. This is a 12 month fixed term contract to begin with potential for longevity.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Lead the scheduling and governance of projects, selecting and applying appropriate methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, estimates, costs, and delivery against agreed milestones and baselines.
  • Ensure effective governance and reporting processes are followed across all internal change initiatives.
  • Coordinate project requirements and standards, ensuring alignment with organisational needs.
  • Oversee daily project tasks, ensuring accountability and progress towards key milestones.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive risk assessment and risk management activities, ensuring proactive mitigation.
  • Define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities across multiple initiatives.
  • Liaise with third-party providers and internal teams to resolve critical issues and deliver IT changes.
  • Support trial projects and expansions with partners, contributing to external change management plans.
  • Continuously develop project processes, conducting lessons learned and embedding improvements.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Project Management role, ideally within smaller or growing organisations.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes, governance, and delivery strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to engage, influence, and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, fostering teamwork and shared ownership.
  • Calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Experience balancing process and agility, ensuring both control and pace of change.

Please note this is a role based in their South Dublin offices where the team operating a hybrid working model.
