Barden are delighted to partner with a dynamic business advisory firm to help identify a commercially focussed VAT Director to lead their VAT function.
A great opportunity for an experienced VAT professional with at least seven years’ experience. Assuming ownership of a strong VAT client portfolio, you will also develop the function through strategic growth plans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Manage the delivery of high-quality VAT Advisory and Compliance services to clients.
- Focus on growing the client base and actively seek out business development initiatives.
- Support the growth of the firm through various initiatives.
- Partner with the firm leaders to enhance the overall service provided to existing clients.
- Participate in tax briefings and presentations internally and externally.
- Assist with the management of fee and collection targets.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified Tax Advisor (AITI/CTA).
- At least seven years’ experience in a technical VAT role.
- Ideally at Senior Manager or Director level.
- Strong VAT technical awareness of the Irish and European VAT legislations.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment.
