In Barden, we’re unbelievably excited to be working with the international leadership team of a household name consumer product business to help them bring some next-generation talent into their global supply chain hub right here in Cork . In particular, they are looking for finance professionals with good manufacturing exposure that would like to transition away from the debits and credits and into the supply chain space… setting their careers on a totally different trajectory (the chance to do something like this just doesn’t come around very often).
With an existing global supply chain team of over 220 people (150 of which work out of their hub in Cork) the leadership team are looking to infuse the existing organisation with this talent for a variety of succession planning opportunities they envisage over the coming years.
We’ve no jobs specs. We’ve a blank canvas. Our remit is to speak with smart and ambitious finance professionals, tell the story of this business, introduce them to the team and work with them to shape what their first role might look like. This is a blank canvas for ambitious accountants to chart their future in a different direction in a truly global, local team.
Opportunities exist at all levels (from early career to Director level) and across all disciplines within supply chain (from production planning to material planning to inventory management, to logistics, to project management to strategic planning, to innovation and commercialisation). For the right people, there’s the opportunity to step up or rotate to another area – both horizontal and vertical progression is on the cards.
