Too often this results in long hours and high stress as the remaining team struggles to meet deadlines… sound like someone you know?  Our client has decided this approach is just not good enough anymore.  They’ve decided to get proactive and try to spend a little more to build a sustainable finance team where people can work hard, have great careers, and have downtime to enjoy life too…sounds nice doesn’t it?

… the Group Financial Controller is interested in talent first, job description second.  What does that mean?  Well, for the right person the Group FC will shape the role around the person, giving them exposure to the work they would like to be doing as a first step into the team.  The right people will progress rapidly and while we have Financial Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant and Group Finance Manager level opportunities available, we’ll work with you and the Group FC to craft your first role with the business.

…given there are no definitive job specs there’ll be no formal interview…not for starters anyway.  With an expression of interest from you, we can set up a casual, informal coffee with the Group FC or CFO so you can get a feel first hand as to what they are planning and their vision for your future team… we’re calling it a discovery call.  Like what you hear then we can opt you in to a more structured interview process.  Decide it’s not for you then nothing ventured nothing gained.
