The way the recruitment system works for Software Developers is broken; we’re going to try and fix it….

Right now we have a rare opportunity to join our recently qualified accountant (0-3 yrs PQE) recruitment team in Cork… 

For a long time now the recruitment market for Software Developers has been working the wrong way around.   Software Developers aren’t like a commodity to be pursued when a company gets around to deciding it has a need.  Software Developers are talent, talent that has the power in the market to choose the kind of companies and projects they want to work with.  Software Developers should be leading the conversation, not employers…..

What if?

  • Developers worked with Talent Agents and not with Recruiters?
  • Talent Agents were there for Developers just like in Hollywood agents are there for actors;  representing them to the gigs they want in the type of companies they want to work with, on the tech they want to be working on and in a schedule that works for them.

Maybe it’s a mad idea?  Maybe it’s a pipe dream? But we’d like to give it a go.
