“Whether you’re a trainee, qualified accountant or hiring manager you’ll know that great reward, be it extrinsic (financial) or intrinsic (non-financial) is at the heart of every business.” Elaine Brady | Managing Partner | Barden Leinster
Yes salary is important but the recent Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society Salary Survey, in partnership with Barden, shows that it’s not just all about the money!
- The most valued benefit for respondents is a pension scheme with 9 out of 10 members enjoying an employer contributed scheme.
- 50% of those who took part value their pension scheme as second most important thing in their remuneration package.
- A further 83% of respondents place some value or a lot of value on work life balance/flexible working arrangements.
- 37% are supported with further study opportunities.
Included also are a list of the most common fringe benefits in the sector including institute subscriptions, health insurance, time in lieu, share options and sponsored personal development.
The Salary Survey is the perfect guide for you in terms of salary, fringe benefits and other rewards in the accounting sector.
