Barden are delighted to continue this strong partnership with a leading global business to help identify an Assistant Manager to join their Group Treasury function, headquartered in Dublin.
You will play a key role in managing treasury operations while striving to enhance efficiencies and improving processes across the function.
Ideally this will suit an experienced treasury professional with at least 5 years’ experience supporting back-office treasury for a multinational corporate.
Hybrid working arrangements with an expectation to commute to the office 2-3 times per week.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Daily Operations: Oversee daily settlements, deal confirmations, and query resolutions for all Treasury transactions.
- Reconciliations: Conduct daily reconciliations to ensure accurate transaction capture in the TMS and ERP systems.
- Intercompany Loans: Assist in managing intercompany loans and maintaining related documentation.
- Debt Servicing: Coordinate quarterly debt servicing with Tax and Group Finance teams.
- Banking Projects: Support retail operations by addressing banking-related projects and resolving issues.
- Roadmap Participation: Help define the Reporting, Operations & Controllership roadmap and priorities, aligning with the Group Strategic Plan.
- Compliance and Governance: Maintain robust policies, controls, and governance processes to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
- Collaboration: Work with Risk, Systems, and Compliance Teams on Treasury transformation and process improvements.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a Treasury analyst, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least five years experience.
- A part or fully qualified accountant advantageous.
- Background in treasury operations, ideally in a complex multinational.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- A natural problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills.
