They have asked Barden to help strengthen their team by identifying a talented Automation Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will get to play their part in the drive to improve biologics and improve the lives of patients worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a key hire for the business and its remit offers the opportunity for someone to really influence the standards and efficiencies required by the site.
Automation System Maintenance Management:
- Ensure the optimal performance of PLC and DCS systems, meeting regulatory standards with precision.
- Conduct regular maintenance for Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring seamless building operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory efficiently, balancing critical availability with cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for streamlined control system operations.
- Lead automation projects from planning to execution, prioritizing reliability and compliance.
Computer System Validation Management:
- Support robust computer system validation efforts to ensure compliance and operational suitability.
- Maintain data integrity across computerized systems, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audits, domestically and internationally, to ensure compliance.
- Manage user accounts, time synchronization, and data backup for computerized systems.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer/Process Automation.
- 2-5 years of automation engineering experience.
- Experience of BMS Automation System Management
- Strong project management skills in automation.
- Previous experience of GMP & EHS regulations.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
