Barden has been engaged by a leading telecommunications company looking to hire an experienced data protection & privacy lawyer.

THE ROLE

Advising on all applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and ePrivacy Regulations, as well as emerging regulatory frameworks;
Supporting product, governance, marketing and technology teams on privacy compliance matters;
Ensuring that privacy policies and procedures are compliant and implemented appropriately;
Drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), support on response to and investigations of data protection incidents, and interact as necessary with the Data Protection Commission (DPC) and other EU supervisory authorities;
Conducting and advising on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).

THE PERSON

Irish or UK qualified lawyer;
3+ years’ PQE; and
Excellent experience data protection and privacy experience as detailed above.
