ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Delivery of Large Strategic Capital Projects:
- As the lead, you’ll have the opportunity to execute large strategic capital projects critical to the business. This includes infrastructure, capacity requirements, and business continuity planning.
- Management of Diverse Engineering Teams:
- You’ll oversee a large globally diverse group of engineers. Your role involves ensuring project delivery and managing resources effectively.
- Engineering and Procurement Standards:
- You’ll set and enforce technical and commercial standards worldwide for large strategic capital projects. This includes managing supplier relationships and performance.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Responsible for safe execution, budget, and schedule adherence. policies.
- Strategic Supplier Relationships:
- Develop and leverage strategic supplier relationships to support project management. Collaborate with legal resources to establish necessary procedures and contracts
Qualifications and Attributes for Project Engineer:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 6-10 years of field and project planning experience is desirable.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to work with multiple disciplines on large-scale projects and collaborate effectively.
