PepsiCo, in collaboration with Barden, is hiring a Global Design Capacity Lead for a central role based in Ireland. This position involves critical analysis of capacity requirements across PGCS (PepsiCo Global Concentrate Solutions). The manager will work closely with supply chain and operations to develop optimized end-to-end solutions, address business needs, plan for future capacity, identify capital requirements, optimize existing capacity, and ensure a robust business continuity plan for all PGCS products. exciting opportunity to drive impactful solutions and contribute to the company’s success!

The Opportunity

Critical Analysis of Capacities: The Senior Global Design Manager takes ownership of analyzing capacity requirements across PGCS (PepsiCo Global Concentrate Solutions). This involves assessing the current and future capacity needs.

End-to-End Solutions: Collaborating with supply chain and operations, the manager develops optimized end-to-end solutions. These solutions address operational requirements and ensure efficient capacity utilization.

Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Ensuring that a robust BCP is in place for all products across PGCS. This plan ensures uninterrupted operations even during disruptions.

Engineering Solutions: Reviewing capacity changes and developing engineering solutions to optimize existing assets. This includes identifying potential hotspots and addressing them effectively.

Site and Equipment Selection: Optimizing the selection of sites and equipment to support capacity changes.

Plant Configuration: Identifying necessary changes to plant configuration to accommodate capacity adjustments.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Process Industry Experience: The manager should have experience in process engineering, with exposure to operations or maintenance. Capital project management expertise is essential.
  • Degree Qualification: A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
  • Technical Standards and Project Development: Familiarity with process plant technical standards, project concept development, and business case approval.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for working across international teams.
  • Change Management: Being an advocate for change management within the organization.
