The Head of Commercial Finance will provide strategic leadership and direction across all aspects of financial planning, commercial strategy, and business analytics. As a senior member of the Finance leadership team, this role will work closely with C-suite executives and key stakeholders to support the financial growth and operational success of the organisation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Manage the commercial finance function, providing insight and financial guidance to senior management on the profitability and financial performance of the business.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the executive team, offering commercial insights to shape business decisions.
- Oversee and support complex commercial deal structuring, including pricing, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and tools. Implement best practices for financial reporting, analytics, and decision support, ensuring continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified Accountant
- A minimum of 10+ years of commercial finance experience at senior management level
- Proven experience in complex financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Expertise in negotiating and structuring commercial deals.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
