About the position
- Support the group tax team on a wide array of matters including tax planning, tax controversy and tax reporting obligations
- Advice the business on matters relating to tax structuring, due diligence, and financial modelling for acquisitions, dispositions, and M&As.
- Lead tax projects, collaborating with finance teams and other departments.
- Prepare and review on tax accounting and reporting disclosures
- Oversee EMEA corporate tax compliance, including filings and payments
- Drive tax process improvements and automation.
- Support tax audits and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with transfer pricing and restructuring for optimal tax outcomes.
- Stay updated on local tax regulations to ensure compliance.
About the person
- Qualified tax professional
- Big 4 background operating at manager or senior manager level, industry experience a nice to have but not essential
- Good understanding of international tax environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and impact others and take initiative and ownership of results.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, flexible and adaptable to change.
