Barden are exclusively partnering leader in Building Management Systems as they seek a Project Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented engineering professional looking join a business who work on exciting projects nationally. The Project Manager will work across a variety of industries and be a key collaborator in the business working with a variety of teams.
About the Role
This is a versatile position that will see you working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the business. Depending on the project, you may support a project manager or take full ownership of engineering project delivery. While primarily office-based, the role will involve occasional site visits to ensure smooth execution and compliance. The role will suit someone with great stakeholder management skills and who has a good track record in project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
- Conduct post-handover design reviews to ensure alignment with project briefs.
- Develop and manage project programmes and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate on-site labour and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project costs and flag potential overruns.
- Support or lead the commissioning process and ensure seamless client handover.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
- Troubleshoot project issues and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and issue Health & Safety documentation to uphold the highest safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Solid understanding of current Health & Safety regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with MS Project and/or Procore.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, etc.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
