Barden are delighted to be supporting our client, an engineering company on a Sales/Purchasing administration role on their team

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Manage new and repeat sales enquiries, setting up templates, and inputting data for customer sales quotes
  • Liaise with suppliers for part quotes and external finishing services
  • Work in tandem with the Production team for enquiry input and scheduling
  • Oversee the sales quote process via our ERP system, ensuring efficient communication with customers and suppliers
  • Transition sales quotes into sales orders following customer approval
  • Coordinate with the Production team to set estimated delivery dates
  • Maintain job sheets and work order folders, ensuring all necessary documentation is included

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in sales administration or related roles preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Keen eye for accuracy and efficiency
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
