ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a mid-level Python Engineer with a DevOps mindset, to guide applications from conception to deployment, prioritising maintainability, quality, security, and performance.
- This role involves being proficient in agile methodologies and understanding software development life cycle concepts
- You will collaborate with the development team to translate high-level requirements into manageable, testable components
- You will develop robust automated tests to ensure application reliability Manage multiple projects concurrently
- You need to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- You must meet tight deadlines and provide essential support for critical applications in production environments
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Circa 5+ years of relevant software development experience
- Prior experience in Python is essential
- Proficiency in automated testing methodologies
- Experience with developing and testing REST APIs
- Competence in working with both relational and non-relational databases
- Knowledge of fundamental principles in software development security
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Azure Cloud
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs
- Azure AI services, Generative AI, and Large Language Models
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Linux administration skills
- Scripting (e.g., Bash)
