Aideen Murphy ACA, CTA | Partner | Tax & Practice
Trained through Big 4, Aideen qualified in accounting and in tax in 2012, and spent a number of years post qualification in both practice and industry before moving to recruitment in 2015.
Aideen is a founding member of Barden’s tax recruitment practice in Cork, is a subject matter expert in tax careers, is an active member of the Women in Tax committee, regularly contributes to publications on the tax profession and advises CFOs and tax leadership teams in Munster on attracting and retaining world class teams.

Aoibhín Byrne | Senior Associate | Expert in Recently Qualified Tax, Audit, Advisory and Treasury Careers
Aoibhín Byrne is an Senior Associate at Barden, and an expert in recently qualified tax, audit, advisory and treasury careers.
A proud Cork/Dublin woman she joined in October 2019. Aoibhín studied commerce with French in University College Cork (UCC). Before joining Barden she worked in KPMG.
Aoibhín is based in the Dublin office and works as part of the recently qualified tax and practice team. In particular she works on recently qualified tax, audit, advisory and treasury careers. Her role involves bridging the gap between the clients and the candidate’s needs and ultimately matching the right person to the right role.

Kate Flanagan CTA | Partner | Tax & Practice
Trained through Big 4, Kate qualified in tax in 2006 and spent a number of years post qualification in both practice and industry before moving to recruitment in 2010.
Kate is a founding member of Barden’s tax recruitment practice in Dublin, is a subject matter expert in tax careers, regularly contributes to publications on the tax profession and advises CFOs and tax leadership teams in Leinster on attracting and retaining world class teams.

Siobhan Sexton ACA | Business Lead | Expert in Recently Qualified Accounting Careers
Originally from Cork, Siobhán trained in KPMG Cork in the Tax Department and she is ACA qualified since 2017.
Siobhán also worked as part of the Management Consulting team in KPMG Dublin during her training contract. She worked predominantly on pharmaceutical, IT and construction clients.
This experience gives her a unique insight into the finance, accounting and professional service markets.
Following the completion of her training contract with KPMG, Siobhán joined Barden Dublin in March 2017 as part of the Recently Qualified Accountants team.
In 2018 she took a sabbatical to travel to and work in Canada. During her time in Canada Siobhán worked with both Michael Page and Robert Walters Recruitment. On returning to Ireland, Siobhán relocated to her hometown of Cork and now works with our Recently Qualified Tax & Accounting team in Barden Cork.
