Barden are partnering with one of the fastest growing accounting firms in Cork to identify a Corporate Finance Director. In particular the Corporate Finance team has seen significant growth over the last number of years, and they are now in a position to push the business to the next level. 

 

The ideal candidate will be eager to create something very meaningful for themselves and for the wider firm. They will be eager to get involved in origination, addingvalueand assisting with the growth of the wider business in Cork. 

 

Once established in the business and the leadership team are happy there is a strong appetite that this position will move beyond director.  

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

What’s involved in the role? 

This national firm has a strong local presence in Cork and the team have identified a local client base who want to deal with a local firm. This team works closely with local family-run companies, large well-established groups and also companies in growth phase, they also work closely with banks and investors on various projects including; 

  • Preparing and assisting with Business Plans / funding proposals 

  • Carrying out Due Diligence and Financial reviews 

  • Preparing and assisting with Valuation reports 

  • Assisting with Financial Modelling 

  • Advising on Debt and Equity raising 

  • Assisting with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda, management of data rooms etc 

 

The Manager will also be responsible for bringing new business to the firm and maintaining existing relationships. The Manager will also be responsible for mentoring and motivating more junior staff.

ABOUT THE PERSON: 

You will need to be a qualified accountant with significant experience in Corporate Finance / Advisory with a curious mind and strong commercial acumen. You will need to be ambitious, self-motivated and excited about working in a client-facing role within a young and dynamic team.
