ABOUT THE ROLE
- Senior finance leadership role with responsibility for financial stewardship, commercial insight, and business performance across a complex operating environment.
- Acts as a core member of the senior management team, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering closely with group-level stakeholders.
- Delivers clear, timely financial insight to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and operational decision-making.
- Partners with sales and operations to drive profitability, pricing discipline, and commercial effectiveness.
- Full ownership of the finance function, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
- Leads cashflow forecasting and working capital management, optimising inventory, debtors, and creditors while supporting banking relationships.
- Drives continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, controls, and data quality to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Leads and develops the finance team, setting clear objectives and fostering a high‑performance, collaborative finance culture.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post‑qualification experience in a senior finance or financial controller role.
- Strong background in financial reporting, governance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Proven experience in commercial finance and business partnering within complex, operationally driven environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable business insight.
- Confident, credible communicator with strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Demonstrates high standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, operating in line with health, safety, compliance, and organisational values.
