Barden is working with a highly significantly growing Irish tech company, who are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial accountant to progress their career into a senior accounting position, while building their accounting and analysis skills.

This is a broad role and there will be ample progression opportunities given the significant growth within the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Preparing of monthly management accounts for assigned Business Units;
Ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger for your business units and the delivery of high quality financial and management reporting;
Reviewing of journal and balance sheet recs monthly;
Supporting Head of Finance to ensure the Group is tax compliant;
Collaborating with company stakeholders including evaluation of business opportunities;
Reviewing of current processes and drive improvements and efficiencies;
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards;
Developing, maintaining, and improving financial processes and systems;
This role will link in closely with the FP&A team.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA), with 1-3 years PQE.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to develop strong business understanding;
Positive attitude: ‘can do’ approach and willing to “roll up sleeves” as required;
Strong technical ability together with excellent and relationship building skills;
Strong commercial focus and ability to analyse different business scenarios;
Excellent communication skills and comfortable dealing with and challenging senior stakeholders.
Strong experience of month end close, functional reporting and preparation of statutory accounts;
