Barden are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Irish Plc to identify an experienced and qualified accountant to join their Group Finance team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This broad role provides an excellent opportunity to develop one’s Financial Accounting in a leading Irish business.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and review of the Consolidated Financial Statements and Annual Report;
- Ownership of month end accounting for assigned areas;
- Business partnering with operational management to analyse budget vs performance;
- Address external and internal audit queries as they arise;
- Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos;
- Mentorship for junior team members;
- On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional, ACA, ACCA or equivalent;
- Big 4 or Top 10 practice trained, with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in industry;
- Group/Consolidation experience required;
- Excellent communication and report writing skills;
- Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
- Solid working knowledge of Excel.
