Barden are excited to assist an Irish insurer based in Dublin City in finding a Accounts Payable Specialist to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
The ideal person will be looking for a new challenge and a step up in their AP career. This person will sit in a busy team with exposure to senior members of finance and will report to the Finance Operations Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Processing a high volume of invoices.
- Responsible for payment runs.
- Oversee staff expenses.
- Managing PO system and busy email inbox.
- Work closely with the wider team on accruals and prepayments.
- Dealing directly with suppliers and handling any issues or queries.
- Reporting as required by senior members of the business.
- Assisting with month-end activity as required.
- Involvement in project-based work and improvements across finance.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- A minimum of a years’ experience in an accounts/AP assistant role.
- Varied systems exposure including Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic with a positive attitude and a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
