Assistant Accountant – Hybrid (Pharmaceutical)

This is a unique opportunity for someone who has some Accounting or Finance experience to take on a key role within a global business. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller who is based in Cork, you will have ample opportunity to learn and grow in this position, and will see the impact of your work daily.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Accounts payable processes, including vendor invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliation.
• Responsible for accounts receivable functions, handling customer billing, collections, and resolution of payment discrepancies.
• Global subsidiary accounting and reporting, and intercompany reconciliation.
• Subsidiary Banking procedures, VAT and other statutory returns to Revenue.
• Supporting internal quality and external financial audits
• Controlling and overseeing the issuing of stock items

ABOUT THE PERSON

• At least 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Ambitious with a hands up mentality.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
• Strong excel skills
• Passionate about developing a career in Accounting and Finance.
