Barden are delighted to be partnering with a well-established Cork insurance broker as they look to add a Commercial Account Handler to their growing team.
Note: This role is based in Cork but can be worked hybrid or fully-remote.
About the Role:
- Managing client accounts: building client relationships and addressing any concerns regarding new and/or existing policies.
- Processing policy endorsements, renewals and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluating commercial risks, conducting risk assessments and advising clients on suitable coverage.
- Assisting clients throughout the claims process, liaising with insurers and ensuring timely resolution of claims.
- Offering guidance on insurance products, coverage options and risk management strategies to meet client objectives.
About the Person:
- CIP qualified or in the process of becoming the same (preferred); minimum APA qualification is essential.
- Previous experience in an insurance broker, with a strong understanding of insurance principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies and regulations.
- Prior experience in client relationship management (desirable).
