Barden are delighted to be assisting a well-known Cork Organisation with their search to identify a Finance & Business Analyst.
This person will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely alongside the CEO, Finance Manager, and the dedicated finance team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Prepare annual budgets for each service and facilitate review and approval by the Board.
- Support external accounting provider in producing management accounts and perform budget analysis
- Assist in fulfilling returns and requests from statutory funders and auditors.
- Finalize annual financial statements in collaboration with statutory auditors.
- Aid CEO and managers in financial aspects of grant applications and reporting.
- Review and update financial policies and procedures.
- Contribute to new developments and projects.
- Assist Finance Manager in analyzing and presenting financial and business support information.
- Support Finance Manager with additional tasks as needed.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA part qualified desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong IT literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Skilled in problem-solving, listening, and questioning.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meticulous attention to detail.
