Our client is an established manufacturing company with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products for its clients. The business is entering a new phase of accelerated growth and are looking for a talented Finance Director to lead financial strategy and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at a pivotal moment in the company’s history.

As Finance Director, you will play a key role in guiding the strategic vision of the business while ensuring robust financial control. You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth plans. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define business objectives and develop long-term financial plans.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, implementing controls and mitigation processes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work with private equity partners to meet their reporting requirements and support their investment strategy.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with private equity-backed companies is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
