Barden are delighted to be assisting a successful and growing company to introduce a Finance Manager to their finance team in Dublin South (Hybrid working). The role is being offered on an initial 12-month contract but with a strong view to permanency.
This opportunity would suit a senior accountant accountant or early stage finance manager looking to take a step up and gain direct report management experience of a team of three.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage and oversee the production of monthly management accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare analytical review and commentary of financial performance.
- Maintain and continue to improve effectiveness of internal controls and finance processes.
- Management and guidance of 3 direct reports.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
THE PERSON:
- Fully Qualified Accounting professional (ACA or ACCA).
- Minimum 2 years PQE, with Industry experience.
- Experience in preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Organised with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
