Working in an Irish SME, this role reports directly to the CEO and Board, serving as a key member of the Management Team, offering proactive support to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial meetings
- Complete financial accounting and forecasting
- Deliver reports and metrics to leadership
- adept at implementing financial strategies
- Oversee internal controls
- Set financial targets
- monitor expenditure/cash flow
- prepare management accounts
- liaise with auditors and tax accountants
- handle VAT/payroll returns, manage payroll
The person:
- Qualified accountant (min. 5 years’ experience), skilled in financial strategies, monthly reporting, expenditure monitoring
- Key attributes: Analytical, negotiation, commercial acumen, communication, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, self-starting, influential
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Offers hybrid/flexible work arrangements (20-25 hours per week).
- One day a week to travel to office in Dublin West.
