Barden are proud to be partnering with a global technology business to bring a newly created Finance Manager role to Cork. This role will suit an ambitious finance professional who is looking to elevate their career within an innovative global business.
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in streamlining and automating the global compliance reporting, including financial statement preparation and audit execution. This is a highly strategic and hands-on opportunity for a finance professional with strong expertise in compliance and passion for process improvement. There will be a huge amount of stakeholder engagement as the main interface between Finance and Project teams globally.
If you are Big 4 trained accountant with 5+ years PQE in a multinational environment and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, then this could be the opportunity you are looking for. ABOUT THE ROLE
• Play a lead role in automating and centralising the global audit process, strengthening the quality and consistency of statutory reporting
• Build strong relationships with key finance stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across Finance, Tax and wider teams
• Support global finance teams to enhance audit delivery, improve financial statement preparation and drive consistency in statutory outputs
• Identify and mitigate risks across statutory close and audit cycles, providing clear insights and reporting on local close performance
• Drive global standardisation of statutory processes, controls and reporting frameworks
• Lead initiatives that accelerate close timelines, enhance control environments and improve overall financial governance

• Qualified Accountant with 5+years PQE
• Highly motivated individual with a demonstrated high degree of personal integrity
