Financial Accountant (FMCG)

Barden are delighted to be working with a well-established and hugely successful Irish business who are looking for a strong Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role will report to a high-calibre Finance Manager and the candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including reporting activities, analysis work, liaising with key stakeholders across the business and ad-hoc project work.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the preparation of weekly reconciliations for your assigned entities;
• Key involvement in the forecasting process;
• Acting as the key point of contact between Finance and other teams across the business;
• Presentation of key metrics to senior stakeholders on a monthly basis;
• Involvement in process improvement and system automation projects;
• Support various finance projects to support continued growth.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0/1 years’ PQE;
• Detail oriented, organised and results focused;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a small, tight-knit team and build key relationships;
• Ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word;
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
