Our client is a leading Property business based in Dublin’s City Centre. They are looking for a Recently Qualified Accountant to join their growing team as a Financial Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract, with a strong view to permanency.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and offers a broad range of responsibilities and exposure to senior management.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of results for assigned pool of properties;
- Preparation of monthly variance analysis against budget and cash flow forecasting;
- Assist in the preparation of year-end consolidated financial statements;
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts;
- Preparation of Tax compliance, corporation tax and VAT returns;
- Continuous process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Recently qualified Financial Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Big 4/Top 10 trained with similar client pool preferred;
- Prior property or real estate experience preferred but not essential;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good team player and self-driven.
