Barden is delighted to have been engaged by a leading multinational business in Cork, with significant local and global operations, to identify a Global SAP Solutions Delivery Lead to join their technology team and play an integral role in their digital transformation journey.

This is a pivotal role leading the design, implementation, and support of a diverse portfolio of application solutions, leveraging both SAP and non-SAP technologies to align with evolving business objectives. Collaboration with global landscape governance teams and stakeholders within Global IT will be integral to achieving success in this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lead and support initiatives, aligning with sector and global teams, ensuring quality and security of solutions.
Manage resources for project feasibility and execution, including internal and external stakeholders.
Cultivate strategic relationships with partners and vendors to meet business requirements.
Establish governance and tracking structures to ensure project delivery on plan, time, and budget.
Ensure solution stability and compliance with SLAs, lead functional agenda, and drive continuous improvement within the SAP domain.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
10+ years of hands-on SAP configuration expertise in functional areas such as supply chain, procurement, finance, etc.
Over 10 years of leadership experience in the IT space focused on project/programme management activities.
Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps methodologies.
Knowledge of integration points in SAP modules (SD, PP, MM, APO/IBP, FI-CO, BPC) and related business processes.
Familiarity with tools/processes like SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL, and production support.
Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, adept at managing customer expectations, senior management, and internal technical staff.
