In-House Corporate M&A Lawyer

Barden is working with a publicly listed group who is seeking a corporate solicitor to join its legal team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role will report directly to the General Counsel and will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on corporate matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions and other legal issues affecting the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures to include due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and negotiating terms.
• Provide pragmatic, commercial, and strategic legal advice to the Group.
• Provide legal assistance on financial and restructuring projects.
• Manage external legal resources to ensure comprehensive and cost-efficient legal support.
• Handle other legal matters and projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• A corporate lawyer with 2-5 years PQE in the corporate team of a top tier law-firm or in-house legal with an international organisation.
• Strong M&A experience is essential.
• Experience working with an international client base is advantageous.
