An opportunity for an Indirect Tax Manager to join the European function of a global multinational based in South Dublin.
You will be responsible for managing the European Indirect Tax function supporting advisory, tax controversy and compliance needs.
Ideally this will suit a tax qualified tax professional with demonstrated experience managing an indirect tax function.
Hybrid working arrangements with an option to work from home 2 days a week.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Review indirect tax computations and ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Support internal and external auditors.
- Advise internal stakeholders on indirect tax matters, engaging external advisors where necessary.
- Maintain an awareness of the external landscape and communicate changes with the wider business to ensure compliance with tax law.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least seven years indirect tax experience.
- Tax and accounting qualification essential.
- People management experience advantageous.
- A strong knowledge of the international indirect tax landscape.
- Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail.
- A natural problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills.
