An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recently Qualified International Tax Analyst to join a leading multinational business based in Dublin City.
This position will play a key role on the Group Tax team to manage all group tax exposures across various tax heads, and ultimately optimise the group’s tax position.
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, who oversees the group tax function, you will gain international tax exposure across a variety of jurisdictions.
Ideally this will suit a qualified tax professional with at least three years’ experience in a financial services tax role across professional services and/or industry.
Flexible working arrangements with an expectation of 3 days per week in their Dublin City Centre office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Oversee the direct and indirect international tax compliance process;
- Provide information to relevant advisors and local tax authorities;
- Advise the wider business in respect of tax matters;
- Prepare reporting packs for the board;
- Participate in business projects from a tax perspective;
- Provide technical tax support across business units to support strategic divisions;
- Develop an awareness of the international tax landscape and identify the potential impact of tax developments on the business;
- Lead and develop team members;
- Ad hoc duties as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least three years’ experience in tax industry or practice;
- A qualified Chartered Tax Advisor;
- Accounting qualification desirable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA);
- Curious with an efficiency fuelled mindset;
- Strong commercial acumen and a team player;
- Ability to act independently and work to tight deadlines.
