Barden has been engaged by an IT company with excellent reputation looking to hire a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will join a very talented legal team on a 12 months’ fixed term contract.
The company operates a largely remote working policy, whereby people can be based anywhere in Ireland and attend the office in Dublin once every two weeks (although there is the option of going into the office more often if desired).
THE ROLE
The key day-to-day responsibilities of the role are to support the business in commercial contracts drafting and negotiation and to provide legal advice on a variety of commercial matters. Most of the contracts will have a tech element and focus primarily in agreements with partners and suppliers, such as NDAs, distribution agreements, software licensing, and wide range of others.
THE PROFILE
- Irish or UK qualified Solicitor;
- 2 years’ PQE minimum (however, the company welcomes applications from all levels of seniority);
- Strong commercial contracts experience gained in a commercial law firm or in-house.
