We are assisting a well known growing Irish business to identify a Management Accountant to join their team in a newly created role, being offered on an initial 12-month contract.
As part of this role you have the opportunity to add real value to the company while working closely with senior management, with a string view to permanency following the contract.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts;
- Provide cost analysis, identifying areas for improvement or cost savings;
- Liaise and communicate with stakeholders across the business;
- Monitor costs and gross margins;
- Stock management;
- Continually work to identify efficiencies and improvements;
- Ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Must have previous cost accounting experience;
- Ability to prioritise work and achieve tight deadlines;
- Previous manufacturing experience a distinct advantage;
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong communication and commercial ability.
Office based in North Wicklow with hybrid working available.
