Barden are partnering with a boutique professional services firm in Cork who are growing their accounting and tax team.
The firm provides a range of corporate services to clients and is now hiring a part qualified accountant who is keen to learn and develop their career in a scaling firm. This is a unique role for this level as it is client facing and has a very broad remit. The person would get exposure to the entire function as opposed to being focused on a specific area.
This firm are extremely progressive, they have great flexibility in terms of options to work remotely. They usually work 2 days per week in the office.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Responsible for monthly management accounts
- Advisory work including due diligence, valuations, business plans etc
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients
- Consultancy work
- Preparing Year End Accounts
- Taxation and CRO compliance
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- 1-2 years of experience in practice
- IATI/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA part-qualified desirable
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Extremely organised and a self-starter
- Positive can-do attitude
