ROLE:                               Project Manager (Product Life Cycle Management)

LOCATION:                      Citywest Dublin

Barden are delighted to partner with a leading global health company that develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of eye care products to support them with a Project Manager (Supply Chain/Product Lifecycle Management) opportunity. This person will play a crucial role in lifecycle management and development and oversights of the project strategic plans to maintain supply continuity; a crucial element of our clients business. The role will operate on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week in the office at their Headquarters in West Dublin. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project implementation for lifecycle management and post-approval changes for our Clients portfolio of products. They will also assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans to maintain supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans through implementation.
  • Broadly there are two categories of projects as follows:
    • Movement of healthcare products across sites, including technology related aspects of this move. All aspects of Quality assurance and related QA regulations will need to be considered.
    • Managing existing product lines & expanding market reach. Working cross functionally where required.
  • Experience working & partnering with CMOS “Contract Manufacturing Organization” in addition to all related external parties.  
  • Establish key milestones that align with the regulatory guidelines.
  • Track operational and capital expenditure for each project.
  • Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks, and timely communication to leadership.
  • Lead and manage the projects, effectively ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Conduct team meetings with internal and external stakeholders; develop agendas, meeting minutes, and action items for team members.
  • Provide leadership in facilitating problem solving and decision making by the team and to assure the decisions are consistent with the overall commercial objective of the project.

ABOUT THE PERSON:  

Required Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and related experience with demonstrated track record for success.

Experience:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing or development is required. In addition could be aligned to talent with a Science or engineering background
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in project management of multiple complex projects with an understanding of regulatory and quality aspects of pharmaceuticals and supply chain is preferred.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Material Management, Quality, and/or Regulatory, with increasing levels of responsibility in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment preferred.
