SAP Implementation Organisational Change Management (OCM) Lead

Barden is delighted to have been asked to act on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company, to identify an experienced Project Manager to take on a key “People & Change” role.

The SAP Implementation Organisational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for leading the change management strategy and plan for an enterprise-wide transformation initiative to move from Oracle to SAP S/4 HANA for Enterprise Resource Planning.

The main goal of the role is to maximize employee adoption and usage, minimize resistance, and enable improvements to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.

“The OCM lead will collaborate with a program team of experienced OCM professionals focused on the people side of change associated with the ERP transformation program. The role involves developing strategies and plans to ensure maximum adoption of project deliverables, identifying training needs and audiences and developing sustainment/support plans.” – CTO

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the OCM team to manage the people side of change for the ERP transformation program.
  • Maximize employee adoption and usage of new business processes, systems, and technology.
  • Execute change management plans and activities to minimize resistance.
  • Identify training and communication needs and audiences.
  • Develop sustainment and support plans, track communications and training plans.
  • Lead the execution of local change management strategy and plan.
  • Assess impact of proposed changes on impacted groups, develop strategies and plans for adoption.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts and articulate big picture for actionable OCM strategies.

About the Person:

  • BA/BS in relevant field, advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational change management
  • Experience implementing large-scale, transformational ERP financial system programs preferred.
  • Certified in Prosci or another Change Management acumen (preferred)
  • Strong executive presence, storytelling, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivated and collaborative with a great attitude
