Senior Financial Analyst (FMCG)

Barden are delighted to have been engaged by a well-established and hugely successful Irish business in the FMCG sector, who are looking for a strong and ambitious Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance team. This role has come about due to internal promotions which is always great to see.

Reporting to an excellent Finance Director with a wealth of experience, the candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities as well as liaising with key stakeholders across the business on a daily basis to support the key decisions of the business. This role is a key hire for the team as they need somebody who can see the bigger picture and support the continuous expansion of the business and it’s product line.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Liaising with senior stakeholders on a variety of tasks including analysing costs and presenting findings and results on same;
  • Working closely with multiple teams to establish more efficient ways of doing things for your assigned department;
  • Complete budgeting and forecasting and manage any related queries from stakeholders;
  • Management of new product integrations and acquisitions;
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting of costs, delivering analysis and supporting decisions for the business;
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders across the multiple departments.
  • Working on long-term solutions and plans for the department;
  • Ad-hoc project work as required.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) – preferably Big 4/Top 10 trained with 2 to 4 years PQE;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build key relationships;
  • Strong technical skills and strong excel skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all level of the organisation;
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
