An exciting opportunity for a Recently Qualified Tax Professional to join the group tax team of a leading household name as Tax Specialist.
Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the tax function across compliance, reporting, tax planning and risk management.
A great first step into industry, working in a close knit and supportive team.
Ideally this will suit a qualified tax professional with at least 3 years’ experience.
Office location is in the heart of Dublin City (on the luas line) and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Support the direct and indirect compliance process – preparation, review and submission.
• Prepare the tax provisions and related notes for quarterly and year end purposes.
• Support tax planning initiatives.
• Support the audit process.
• Liaise with the Revenue Authorities and ensure timely query resolution.
• Assist in the provision of tax advice to internal departments.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiencies.
ABOUT THE PERSON
• At least three years’ experience.
• Chartered Tax Advisor and/or Qualified Accountant.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with various stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment.
