A brilliant opportunity to join a growing leader in the technology space as a VAT Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Tax Manager, you will support the global VAT compliance process across multiple jurisdictions, while enhancing processes where possible.
Ideally this will suit a tax professional with at least 3 years’ experience in a VAT role.
This role offers hybrid working arrangements with an expectation to work from the Cork office twice a week – free car parking onsite.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Support the indirect tax compliance and reporting process for global entities.
- Maintain an awareness of legislative updates and communicate impact to the wider business.
- Prepare and review quarterly VAT provisions.
- Support VAT queries on business transactions/decisions.
- Liaise with tax authorities and support query resolution.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors.
- Identify process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least three years’ experience.
- Demonstrated indirect tax experience advantageous.
- A Chartered Tax Advisor or Accountant advantageous but will consider part qualified.
- Strong systems experience, and an enthusiasm for optimising efficiencies.
