An excellent opportunity to join the VAT team of a global technology leader in Cork.
Ideally this will suit an ambitious professional who’s keen to grow or expand their indirect tax knowledge.
The role will primarily focus on Indirect Tax reporting and compliance. The team is known for working collaboratively and there is excellent support and training in the group – a real opportunity to gain international tax experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for ensuring preparation and submission of Indirect Tax declarations across various regions
- Assessing processes and ensuring these are efficient and effective
- Liaising with wider finance team to ensuring relevant reporting complete and correct
- Work with the Indirect Tax Lead on strategic projects
- Assist with queries from internal and external stakeholders
About the person:
- At least three years experience in an accounting firm or multinational corporate
- Qualified Accountant and/or Qualified Tax Consultant
- Experience working in Indirect tax advantageous but not essential
- Experience with an ERP system ideally SAP advantageous
