Imagine you had the chance to build out the group function of an Irish plc….If you’re an early career accountant you can make that your reality… with Barden.

In Barden, we are delighted to have been asked to act on behalf of the CFO of an Irish Plc to help imagine and build out their group finance team of the future.  Following multiple years of growth, both organically and by acquisition, this business is set for another, potentially exponential, phase of development; with this in mind the CFO wants to build out a group finance team that is fit for the business they are about to become.

Based in south Dublin with easy access by Luas and a 2/3 day hybrid working model, this team has opportunities across a number of different levels including:

  • Group Financial Accountant – newly qualified from Big 4/Top 10 – industry audit experience ideal but also open to FS/Funds and other audit training should someone be looking to make that transition.
  • Senior Group Accountant – circa 2-3 years PQE either at 1st/2nd-year Audit Manager level or with good practical accounts experience in industry and looking for a transition to, or between, a Plc Group function.
  • Group Finance Assistant Manager – Circa 3-4 years PQE in a significant group function and looking for an opportunity to break the glass ceiling and chart a route to management.

This team is hardworking but respects the need to be able to balance life and career – they look after each other and have a shared vision to create a work environment that with be the rival of many.  Once you get up to speed on the regular reporting activity you will have ample opportunity to get involved with projects across the group and to put your hand up for internal opportunities as they emerge.

Curious?  If you are ambitious you should be.  Drop Brian O’Connor (brian.oconnor@barden.ie) a line and Brian and his team will look after you from there.  Easy.
