Barden and CASSC are delighted to announce that John Kelly, Audit & Assurance Partner with Deloitte Ireland LLP, will join us as guest speaker at the upcoming FAE Careers Evening in Cork on Thursday 2nd March 2023.
About John Kelly
John Kelly is an Audit & Assurance Partner in Deloitte based in the Cork office. He is part of the Consumer & Technology business team with a particular focus on privately-owned businesses in the Munster region.
John is experienced in supporting large privately owned businesses in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical, retail and not-for-profit. He has over 15 years’ experience providing audit and advisory services to both international and local companies, primarily focussed on privately held companies. He also spent time working in an industry role in controllership, project management and technical accounting.
John previously had a 10-year career as a professional rugby player, representing Munster and Ireland. He has also held a voluntary role as the chair of Munster Rugby’s professional game board, a group with oversight of the strategy and development of professional rugby in the province. He is a qualified accountant and holds and B Eng in Civil Engineering and a H Dip in Applied Science from University College Cork (UCC).

The Barden & CASSC FAE Careers Evening in Cork is a careers evening designed specifically for FAE students to answer any questions they might have about their professional futures. The evening has been structured to ensure CASSC members get access to the right information, at the right time, so that when they quality they can make the right, and best, decisions about their professional future.
On the night we’ll also hear from an expert panel of guest speakers including John Kelly.
