Here in Barden we are delighted to be partnering with our multinational client in their search for a Senior Supply Chain Leader to join a global HQ right here in Cork. The ideal person will be a tenacious professional with extensive knowledge of supply chain and leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing change and achieving strong results.
This is a rare opportunity to join a global FMCG company and be a senior part of their Supply Chain Leadership team at a unique time for the company, as they introduce their next generation of international talent. You will also be at the centre of decision-making based at the global HQ right here in Cork and working on a key market that is responsible for 40% of sales worldwide.
As the Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for leading the relationship and service delivery for the business, delivering an accurate demand signal, and managing the execution of this signal to agreed service metrics from order capture to delivery. You will also be responsible for driving the execution of strategy, productivity, and other efficiency and streamlining opportunities for the business.

Among other things in this role you’ll be involved in:
- Providing leadership and driving the establishment of effective Sales and Operational Planning processes within the sector to proactively manage the E2E Supply Chain.
- Leading order fulfillment processes including order capture, order processing (including credit considerations), delivery and shipment execution, complaints management and product life-cycle activities including new product introduction.
- Cross-functional collaboration to develop mechanisms that will improve service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness including, but not limited to, back ordering management process, allocations process and alignment.
- Driving the delivery of a comprehensive suite of KPI’s to monitor performance and ensure targets are achieved for the Sector. Implement Governance processes and improve ways of working for both inwards and outward business processes.
