Barden are excited to be working with a leading property and casualty risk insurer, as they look to identify an experienced Claims Handler to join their Dublin team on a 12 month FTC basis.
This person will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation and resolution of employer liability and public liability claims within their allocated authority limit.

About the Role:
- Manage a portfolio of PA, Motor and Property damage claims in pre-litigation, ensuring each case has a clear strategy while controlling claims costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, members, and service providers.
- Adhere to outlined company policies and claims handling processes.
- Provide advice on the claims process and guiding policyholders in terms of steps, procedures and requirements.
- Monitor for and refer suspicious documentation or circumstances within reported claims.
- Identify and escalate claims relating to serious injuries, large losses or with other key characteristics.
About the Person:
- APA/CIP qualified, essential.
- Prior experience within claims in the general insurance industry.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong people management and organisational skills.
