Barden are excited to be partnering with a national insurance broker as they look to add several Commercial Account Executives to their fast-growing teams, based out of either their Swords or Longford office.
“We are looking for someone who has at least 2-3 years of experience – ideally coming from an established broker – who is looking to develop as an Account Executive. This person will focus on both new and existing business with the hopes of later developing their own book of business.” – Hiring Manager
You will be reportingly directly into the Director. You will focus on ensuring best practice in the clients’ best interest, overseeing end-to-end pipeline activity, advocating for new business and client loyalty, and keeping up-to-date on market practice, trends, etc.
About the Role:
- Ensure that new business/renewal targets are achieved, and best interests of the clients are being served throughout.
- Enforce best practices are followed in order to maintain a client-centric focus.
- Support and advocate for the company’s compliance and office procedures, including adherence to New Business development and Renewal Procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on market practices and product availability, offering valuable feedback and insights regarding market issues, pricing, service levels, and produce development.
- Inspire client loyalty through efficient and friendly service delivery, ensuring timely collection of accounts and adherence to safety policies.
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager on ad-hoc duties relating to the development of Market Plan for the Retail Department.
About the Person:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a commercial sales role, coming from a broker is desirable.
- Minimum APA Commercial or Grandfathered Commercial with proof of up-to-date CPD.
- Sound technical product knowledge and knowledge of the general insurance market.
- Experience brokering for Camera and Videographer insurance desirable but not essential.
